Kindly note that our group is limited to Muslim youth and adults only. Please follow the steps we’ve provided below to sign up either your youth(s), or yourself as an Adult Volunteer Scouter, to Scouts Canada with the 392nd Thornhill Muslim Scouts. Use this detailed signup guide as a reference, this entire process should take you about 15-30 minutes to complete the first time and it is all completed online.

The registration cycle is the calendar year from Jan 1 to Dec 31 to attend meetings and activities, although registration for the new year typically opens in early September. In some cases, youth may be able to begin earlier than January if space permits.

Current fees for 2026 are $337 per child which consists of a portion collected by Scouts Canada and a portion that goes towards the operating expenses of 392 Muslim Scouts. Additional costs that you may incur include purchasing a uniform, buying outdoor personal equipment such as sleeping bags, etc., and attending off-site activities such as camps.

1. 1. Visit the Scouts Canada Registration Page (https://www.scouts.ca/join/register.html) and create an account by inputting the requested information.
   2. When you’re prompted to “FIND A GROUP“, use the postal code L4J 8V6 you should see “392nd Thornhill…” come up as the first choice (or one of the choices in the list).

      

   3. Select the Section based on age group your child is in (Adult Volunteers can select the “Volunteer”.
      – Beaver Colony (5-7)
      – Cub Pack (8-10)
      – Troop Scouts (11-14)
      – Venturer Group (15-18) (starting in 2021)
      – Adult Leader (18+)

   4. The last step is to complete the payment for Scouts Canada. Your child may also be eligible for a subsidy through our No One Left Behind program – Contact us if you have any questions regarding the NOLB program.
